About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and reflective Consultant Educator to join our Inclusive Education Program at BGMS Shishukunj Vidyalaya. The role involves supporting children within classroom settings, collaborating with teachers, and helping create environments where every child can participate, learn, and belong.
This is an excellent opportunity for educators, teachers, social work professionals, or individuals interested in inclusive education and child development.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children in classroom participation, engagement, and daily routines.
* Collaborate with teachers to implement inclusive classroom practices.
* Assist in adapting learning activities to meet diverse learner needs.
* Facilitate children's social participation and independence within school settings.
* Observe, document, and report on student engagement and classroom processes.
* Work closely with the AIF team, school staff, and families when required.
* Contribute to creating safe learning environments.
* Participate in team meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.
Working Days- Monday to Friday, Half day on 1st and 3rd Saturday
Work Locations- BGMS Shishukunj Vidyalaya, Vibutipura, Bangalore
Work Timimgs- 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Who We Are Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in any field.
* Strong interest in inclusive education and working with children.
* Good communication and documentation skills.
* Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Willingness to learn and receive feedback.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with children in schools, therapy centers, NGOs, or inclusive settings.
Must Speak English.
Added preference- Speak Tamil/ Kannada
