We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Cyber Security Specialist cum Trainer who can not only secure systems and networks but also effectively train and mentor aspiring professionals. This dual role requires strong technical expertise along with excellent communication and teaching abilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesCyber Security Specialist Duties
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or vulnerabilities
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessments & Penetration Testing (VAPT)
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Perform risk analysis and recommend security improvements
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and policies
- Investigate security incidents and provide incident response solutions
- Maintain data protection and backup strategies
Training & Mentorship Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions on cybersecurity concepts
- Design curriculum for beginners to advanced learners
- Conduct hands-on practical sessions, labs, and real-world simulations
- Guide students on tools like Kali Linux, Wireshark, Metasploit, etc.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for certifications like CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and teach accordingly
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Proven experience in cybersecurity and ethical hacking
- Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, encryption, and protocols
- Hands-on experience with security tools and frameworks
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching skills
- Certifications like CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
