Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory and field testing of building materials such as cement, concrete, aggregates, steel, bricks, blocks, soil, asphalt, and related products as per applicable standards.
- Prepare, identify, handle, and test samples while ensuring compliance with testing procedures and quality requirements.
- Record observations, maintain test data, and assist in preparation of test reports.
- Operate, maintain, and conduct routine checks of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, sample traceability, and adherence to laboratory safety practices.
- Follow SOPs, quality systems, and accreditation requirements (ISO/IEC 17025).
- Coordinate with laboratory personnel and clients to ensure timely completion of testing assignments.
- Support audits, proficiency testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- Skills Required
- Knowledge of building material testing procedures and standards.
- Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory record management.
- Relevant experience in a building material testing laboratory preferred.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
