Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Civil Projects
Experience
- Minimum 15–20 years of experience in the Civil Construction industry.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale construction projects from planning through successful completion.
- Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously is highly preferred.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Age
Language Requirements
- Mandatory: Kannada and English
- Preferred: Tamil
- Expected: Hindi
Driving Requirement
- Must possess a valid driving license.
- Should be capable of driving both 2-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler vehicles.
Key Project Experience
The candidate should have hands-on experience in:
- High-rise residential and commercial building projects.
- Industrial and institutional building construction.
- RCC structural works and finishing works.
- Project planning, execution, monitoring, and final handover.
- Multi-site project management and coordination.
- Contractor and subcontractor management.
- Project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
- Quantity estimation, BOQ verification, client billing, and project documentation.
- Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC).
- Site safety management and statutory compliance.
- Material planning, procurement coordination, and inventory control.
- Coordination with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, clients, and government authorities.
- Progress monitoring to ensure timely completion within approved budgets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil construction projects from inception to final handover.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with approved quality standards.
- Supervise Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Contractors, and Subcontractors.
- Review project schedules, manpower deployment, resource allocation, and project costs.
- Monitor construction progress and resolve technical, operational, and site-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and project review meetings.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for senior management.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, vendors, government authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in construction processes, productivity, and cost optimization.

- Sound understanding of RCC structures, finishing works, QA/QC, and construction standards.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, billing, and project costing.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and project management software is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under demanding timelines.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
