Job Summary:
Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance and be capable of ensuring smooth operation of plant machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily maintenance activities for plant machinery and equipment
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and reports
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures
- Manage spare parts requirements and coordinate with stores
- Guide and supervise maintenance technicians and operators
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Experience in troubleshooting industrial machinery
- Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, and hydraulic systems
- Understanding of electrical panels, wiring, and control systems
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
- Good problem-solving and team management skills
Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance of industrial machinery
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning
