Job Summary:
The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, handling payments and receipts, and supporting financial reporting activities.
The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial operations within the organization.
General Job Duties:
Manage and monitor outlet level accounting, consolidations, receipts & payments
Bank deposit & delivery partners account reconciliations
Store accounting, bill processing & payments
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded on a daily basis in tally system
Update accounts receivable, payable and reconciliation
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Assist with other accounting projects
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Monitor daily cash deposit, card machine settlement and payment receivable from various 3rd party aggregators.
Verify and process daily petty cash expense vouchers for processing the payments.
Verifying the raw material purchase invoices with system generated goods receipt note and send verified invoices to HO for payments.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Complies with state and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Maintains and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Required Skills
Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or Zoho Books
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
Time management and organizational abilities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred)
1–4 years of accounting experience preferred
Knowledge of taxation and compliance regulations is an advantage
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
