Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to prepare and serve premium coffee, tea, and beverages while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate should maintain high standards of beverage quality, cleanliness, speed of service, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation
- Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other beverage equipment.
- Monitor beverage temperatures and serving standards.
Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting beverages.
- Take customer orders accurately.
- Handle special requests professionally.
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude at all times.
Food & Product Handling
- Serve cookies and other food items hygienically.
- Ensure products are fresh and properly stored.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages promptly.
Hygiene & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness of the food truck, coffee station, and work area.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Clean and sanitize equipment regularly.
- Dispose of waste according to company procedures.
Inventory Management
- Monitor daily usage of coffee beans, tea, milk, sugar, syrups, cups, lids, and other supplies.
- Inform the manager when stock needs replenishment.
- Minimize wastage and follow portion control guidelines.
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance of coffee machines and equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions immediately.
Teamwork
- Work closely with the Truck Manager and Service Associate.
- Support teammates during busy hours.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn are welcome.
- Basic English and local language communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
