Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for editing academic, promotional, event, and social media videos to enhance the digital presence of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, website, YouTube, and marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging reels, shorts, promotional videos, and event highlights.
- Add transitions, graphics, animations, subtitles, and sound effects as required.
- Collaborate with marketing, training, and academic departments for video content creation.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage and organize video assets and archives.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media content formats.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.
- Understanding of video formats, color correction, and audio editing.
- Creative storytelling and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Film Production, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in video editing is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in the education, media, or digital marketing sector.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio may also be considered.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in creating content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Knowledge of photography and videography will be an added advantage.
