Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RPG AS/400 Developer with strong expertise in RPG development, AS/400 environments, DB2 databases, and SQL programming. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on development experience and be capable of designing, coding, testing, and supporting enterprise applications. Experience with JDA ERP and Retail domain applications will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using RPG, RPG ILE, and RPG Free.
- Develop and support solutions in AS/400 environments.
- Create program specifications and develop code based on functional and technical requirements.
- Work with DB2 databases and write complex SQL queries for application development and reporting.
- Manage code deployments and releases using Change Management tools such as Aldon or similar.
- Support data integration processes using DDM, sFTP, and related technologies.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and change management procedures.
