About the Role
Just qualified, or a couple of years into your CA career, and looking to specialize rather than stay generalist? This role is designed exactly for that — a launchpad into two of the most intellectually demanding practice areas in the profession: transaction advisory and succession/estate planning.
You won't be thrown in alone. You'll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with seasoned advisors on live deals and real family structuring conversations, building the kind of specialized expertise that takes most people years to develop elsewhere.
On the Deal Advisory Side, You'll:
- Get hands-on with legal and regulatory research — Income Tax Act, Companies Act, FEMA, Stamp Duty, SEBI Regulations, IND AS — as it applies to actual live transactions, not textbook scenarios
- Study business models and commercial goals to help shape cost-efficient deal structures, supporting execution across mergers, demergers, acquisitions, shareholder exits, fund repatriation, pre-IPO restructuring, cross-border reorganisations, and succession planning
- Draft technical notes, opinions, presentations, and transaction documents grounded in solid legal and commercial reasoning
- Work closely with internal colleagues and external advisors, while keeping a finger on the pulse of legal, regulatory, and judicial developments that matter for transaction work
On the Succession & Estate Planning Side, You'll:
- Help design succession pathways for operating businesses, passive income assets, art collections, and charitable structures
- Support strategic conversations around HUF matters and tax-efficient wealth transfer within families
- Draft shareholder agreements, family arrangements, and partition deeds, along with the supporting technical notes and presentations
- Contribute to designing trust structures that protect continuity and control across generations
- Help build family charters and governance frameworks that keep values aligned and reduce the odds of future conflict
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
