Job Title: Engineer – NPD (Injection Moulding)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Injection Moulding Process Development as per customer drawings. The role involves process development coordination, technical documentation, engineering drawing interpretation, mould development support, and cross-functional collaboration with customers, vendors, and internal teams. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining development records, quality documentation, and project documentation throughout the manufacturing development lifecycle in line with IATF 16949 requirement.
Key Responsibilities Process Development & Design Coordination
· Participation in feasibility study
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, customer specifications, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with customers and mould design vendors for finalization of process specifications.
· coordination with Customers & Mould Manufacturers
· Participation in APQP
· Development of PFD, FMEA, Control Plan as per IATF & Customer requirement
· Support mould trials, PPAP (Validation) & Documentation
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CATIA (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks will be an added advantage).
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Basic knowledge of mould design, jigs, fixtures, and injection moulding processes.
- Preferably Hands-on experience in APQP, PFD, PFMEA, PPAP, Control Plan, and document preparation.
- Strong technical documentation and report-writing skills.
- Basic knowledge of polymer materials and their properties.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation management practices.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in injection moulding, automotive components, or plastic product development IATF 16949
- Exposure to customer documentation requirements and quality management systems.
- Experience in handling management and NPD documentation.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
