Design Plus Studio is an architecture and interior design firm based in Gurgaon, working across residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional and interior design projects. We focus on creating functional, contemporary and aesthetically refined spaces while maintaining strong attention to technical detailing and execution.
We are looking for a creative, responsible and detail-oriented Architect / Junior Architect to join our Gurgaon design team.
Job Description
The candidate will be involved in the complete architectural and interior design process, from concept development and planning to working drawings, 3D visualization and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts, layouts and design proposals.
- Prepare plans, sections, elevations and detailed working drawings.
- Develop interior layouts, furniture layouts, ceiling plans and wall elevations.
- Prepare detailed architectural and interior drawings for execution.
- Create 3D models, views and presentation drawings.
- Assist in material, colour, furniture and finish selection.
- Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP and other consultants.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and site teams.
- Conduct site visits, take measurements and understand site conditions.
- Ensure execution is carried out according to approved drawings and designs.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, material specifications and project documentation.
- Participate in client meetings and design presentations.
- Work on multiple projects while maintaining deadlines and drawing quality.
- Research new materials, design trends and architectural solutions.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
- Knowledge of SketchUp / 3D modelling will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, Revit or other visualization software is preferred.
- Good understanding of architectural planning and interior detailing.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and construction details.
- Strong design sense and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to visit project sites when required.
Qualification
- B.Arch / Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design or relevant qualification.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio may apply.
- Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience will be preferred.
Pay: ₹12,055.22 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gurgaon, Haryana
