Civil Engineer

Job Summary:
Ecole Globale International Girls' School is seeking a qualified and proactive Civil Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, maintenance, and supervision of civil and infrastructure-related works within the school campus. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, safety, quality, and upkeep of all civil structures and facilities across the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all civil construction, renovation, and maintenance activities on campus.
- Monitor day-to-day infrastructure maintenance including buildings, hostels, classrooms, roads, drainage systems, and utilities.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, and external agencies for project execution.
- Ensure quality control, safety standards, and timely completion of projects.
- Prepare estimates, BOQs, project reports, and material requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of campus infrastructure and recommend preventive maintenance measures.
- Monitor repair and maintenance budgets and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, safety norms, and institutional standards.
- Maintain records related to civil works, vendor bills, AMC contracts, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist the administration in planning future infrastructure development projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure maintenance, or institutional/project management.
- Experience in schools, residential campuses, hotels, hospitals, or large institutional setups will be preferred.
- Sound knowledge of civil maintenance, construction practices, estimation, and project supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic project documentation.
