Job Purpose
To manage end-to-end HR operations at the plant level, ensuring statutory compliance, smooth industrial relations, workforce productivity, and employee engagement in alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Workforce Management
- Handle complete employee lifecycle (recruitment to exit) for plant workforce.
- Manage attendance, shift planning, overtime, and leave records.
- Ensure manpower availability as per production plans.
2. Statutory Compliance & Legal
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws including:
- Factories Act, 1948
- EPF Act, 1952
- ESI Act, 1948
- Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation.
- Coordinate and handle labour inspections, audits, and compliance reporting.
3. Industrial Relations (IR)
- Maintain healthy relations between management and workers.
- Handle union interactions, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage conflict resolution and prevent industrial disputes.
4. Recruitment & Talent Management
- Lead hiring for blue-collar, technical, and plant staff roles.
- Manage bulk hiring and contractor workforce recruitment.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs.
5. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Ensure compliance of contractors as per statutory norms.
- Monitor contractor workforce attendance, wages, and documentation.
- Validate contractor bills and agreements.
6. Payroll & Compensation Support
- Coordinate with payroll team for accurate wage processing.
- Ensure compliance with minimum wages, bonus, and overtime regulations.
- Monitor labour cost and optimize workforce utilization.
7. Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Implement engagement activities for shop-floor employees.
- Drive initiatives for retention, motivation, and productivity.
- Ensure welfare facilities such as canteen, transport, safety, and hygiene.
8. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Support safety policies and ensure compliance with plant safety norms.
- Conduct safety trainings, awareness sessions, and audits.
- Coordinate with EHS team to reduce workplace incidents.
9. Performance Management
- Support performance appraisal processes for plant employees.
- Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs.
10. HR Reporting & MIS
- Maintain HR dashboards (attrition, absenteeism, manpower, etc.).
- Generate reports for management review and decision-making.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
