Hiring: Safety Officer – Civil Construction
We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer for civil construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing site safety procedures, conducting inspections, ensuring PPE compliance, handling toolbox talks, and maintaining statutory safety standards.

- Qualification: Diploma/Degree + Safety Certification (NEBOSH/IOSH preferred)
- Experience: 0 - 2 years in construction safety
- Location: Project Site (Ambattur, Chennai)

Skills Required:
- Good communication, reporting, and audit skills
- Ability to conduct safety training and inspections
- Knowledge of PPE, firefighting, and emergency response
- Strong observation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Office and safety documentation tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard identification.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety standards, PPE usage, and permit systems.
- Prepare and implement HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, induction training, and safety awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper maintenance of safety records, checklists, and statutory documents.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and client safety teams.
- Monitor housekeeping and environmental compliance at the site.
- Recommend improvements for safer work practices.
