Senior Java Server Side Developer (Algorithmic Trading)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work on several Java backend components in Tethys algorithmic trading platform. Implement business features and technical improvements to meet tight performance requirements.
- Passionate about improving and solving complex business requirements
- Organize and follow tight development processes adhering to agile/scrum and test-driven development principals
- Usefully integrated development toolset from Atlassian including Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.
- Ownership and influence on business driving technical solutions to meet job requirements
Experience / Skills:
- Minimum 5 years previous experience with Core Java and hands-on Java low latency development experience.
- Adept in object-oriented design, multi-threading application design and inter-process communication-related development.
- Experience in memory management and JVM/GC performance tuning
- Knowledge of trading systems and prior experience in Equities and Derivatives will be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL skills is desired. Working knowledge of C++ will be a plus.
- Strong command of spoken and written English. The position involves extensive interaction with teams in London and New York and good communication skills are a prerequisite.

Location:
The position is based in Noida and offers an attractive compensation and benefits package with ample opportunities for growth and learning. The firm is currently working remotely and plans to continue to do so as required by the local government and for the safety of its employees. The firm will consider outstanding outstation candidates provided they are willing to travel to the Noida office in accordance with business requirements.
