Tester – Corporate Internet Banking (CIB)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Software Tester with strong expertise in Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) and Digital Banking applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in banking application testing, API testing, payment systems, and end-to-end software testing within the Banking/Financial Services domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and User Stories.
- Design, prepare, and execute detailed test cases covering positive and negative scenarios.
- Perform Functional, System Integration (SIT), Regression, and End-to-End testing.
- Validate Digital Banking applications across Corporate Internet Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and other banking channels.
- Execute API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Create and maintain test data and ensure complete RTM coverage.
- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Software Testing experience.
- Strong Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
- Hands-on experience in Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) or Digital Banking applications.
- Strong knowledge of Payments domain.
- Experience in API Testing using Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and SIT Testing.
- Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
- Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Corporate Banking products.
- Exposure to Omni-channel Banking.
- Knowledge of NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, SWIFT, ISO8583, ISO20022, SEPA, ACH, or payment gateways.
- Experience with Selenium or Playwright is an added advantage.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall projects.
