About the Role
Blossoms International School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Telugu Teacher for Grades VI–X. The ideal candidate should be committed to creating an engaging learning environment, fostering a love for the Telugu language and literature, and delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Telugu to students of Grades VI–X following the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources.
- Deliver interactive, student-centred, and competency-based lessons.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic documentation.
- Support students through remedial and enrichment activities based on their learning needs.
- Integrate technology and smart classroom tools into teaching.
- Organize and participate in literary activities, cultural programmes, competitions, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support students' academic and personal development.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programmes, and other school initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Telugu/Telugu Literature or a related field.
- B.Ed. with Telugu methodology is mandatory.
- M.A. in Telugu is preferred.
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in Grades VI–X (CBSE experience preferred).
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using computers, Smart Boards, and digital teaching tools.
Preferred Skills
- Thorough understanding of the CBSE curriculum and competency-based education.
- Ability to motivate and engage adolescent learners.
- Excellent spoken and written Telugu.
- Working knowledge of English for effective communication and documentation.
- Passion for promoting Telugu language, literature, and culture.
