Role Overview
Seamless Speciality Foods and Beverages is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth in the agri-commodities (rice and maize)trading sector. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, expanding client relationships, and strengthening our market presence. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in grains and pulses trading, strong negotiation skills, and established networks within end-user industries
Key Responsibilities
· Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities with clientals.
· Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
· Sales & Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures to maximize profitability.
· Market Intelligence: Monitor commodity markets, supply-demand trends, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
· Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
· Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Experience: 5–8 years in business development, sales, or trading within agri-commodities.
Maximum age 28 to 35 years
· Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of rice/maize markets and end-user industries (distilleries, ethanol, poultry feed).
· Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
· Network: Established relationships with buyers in relevant sectors preferred.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, International Business, or related field is desirable.
