- Prepare the bakery lab before practical sessions.
- Weigh, measure, and arrange ingredients as per practical requirements.
- Assist faculty during bakery practical classes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery lab, equipment, and workstations.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, sheeters, and refrigerators.
- Monitor stock levels of bakery ingredients, consumables, and equipment.
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery supplies following FIFO and FEFO principles.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in inventory management and stock verification.
- Report equipment malfunction or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Support students in understanding proper equipment handling and safe work practices.
- Minimize wastage by following standard recipes and portion control.
- Assist in organizing bakery competitions, workshops, demonstrations, and events.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department or Management.
