Job Description:
Titan, a leading retail company in India, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BOQ Executive to join our Retail Design team in Bengaluru. As a BOQ Executive, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for our retail network development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed BOQs for retail network development projects, including materials, labor, and other costs
- Collaborate with the Retail Design team to understand project requirements and ensure BOQs align with project plans
- Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to identify all necessary materials and quantities
- Source and compare prices for materials and services to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Maintain and update BOQs throughout the project lifecycle, including any changes or modifications
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate prices
- Monitor project budgets and provide regular reports on cost estimates and actual expenses
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues with BOQs in a timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in materials and costs to ensure accurate BOQs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in BOQ preparation for retail or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, costs, and quantities
- Proficient in using BOQ software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
