Construction Head

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Head to lead and oversee residential and real estate construction projects from planning through successful completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project execution, team leadership, contractor management, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of residential and real estate construction projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and government authorities.
- Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure smooth project execution.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, technical specifications, and construction documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
- Evaluate contractor performance, certify work progress, and conduct regular site review meetings.
- Manage procurement planning and coordinate material availability to avoid project interruptions.
- Prepare project status reports and present updates to senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to achieve organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in residential and real estate construction.
- Proven experience in successfully delivering at least 3–4 residential or real estate projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, execution, quality assurance, and safety standards.
- Experience in contractor management, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and team management abilities.
- Professional references from previous employers, developers, consultants, or clients will be preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in project scheduling and resource planning.
- Strong understanding of BOQs, contracts, budgeting, and cost control.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, or other project management software is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
