Job Role Overview:
We are looking for a Credit Analyst with 1–3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related field. The role involves evaluating the creditworthiness of corporates and financial institutions through financial statement analysis, industry research, and economic assessment. The candidate will prepare credit evaluation reports, support rating decisions, and collaborate with senior analysts to ensure accurate and timely assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow) to assess creditworthiness and financial health.
- Evaluate industry trends, economic conditions, and business risks impacting credit ratings.
- Conduct market and sector research to support rating decisions.
- Prepare credit rating reports with clear analytical justification.
- Present findings to internal committees and address queries related to the analysis.
- Monitor ratings and update assessments based on new information or market developments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation of analyses and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (professional certifications are a plus).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience; candidates with 1–3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or related roles will be preferred.
- Strong analytical and financial interpretation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other analytical tools.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
