Job Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to join our Solar Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting solar energy solutions, and converting prospective customers into long-term clients. The role requires a strong understanding of consultative sales and the ability to build lasting customer relationships while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, networking, and other sales activities.
- Identify potential residential, commercial, and industrial customers for solar installations.
- Meet prospective clients to understand their energy requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
- Explain the features, benefits, and cost savings associated with solar power systems.
- Conduct product presentations and client meetings.
- Prepare and submit quotations and proposals to prospective customers.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Follow up regularly with prospects until order closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the management.
- Coordinate with the technical and project execution teams for site visits and installation planning.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers for repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, government policies, subsidies, and developments in the solar industry.
- Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, exhibitions, and promotional events whenever required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Graduate) in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Solar Sales is mandatory.
- Experience in field sales or B2B/B2C sales will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in renewable energy or electrical products will have an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi is mandatory.
- Strong negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Good presentation and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to travel extensively within Pune and nearby areas for client meetings.
