Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Generate leads through customer visits, networking, industry events, and digital platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, industrial customers, and key decision-makers.
- Expand the customer base in heavy fabrication, trailer, automotive, construction equipment, and engineering industries.
2. Sales & Customer Management
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.
- Prepare customer presentations, capability profiles, and business proposals.
- Conduct customer meetings, plant visits, and technical discussions.
- Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries, quotations, and customer feedback.
- Negotiate commercial terms within the approved company guidelines.
3. RFQ & Quotation Management
- Coordinate with Design, Costing, Purchase, Production, and Quality teams for timely quotation preparation.
- Review RFQs, customer specifications, drawings, and commercial requirements.
- Track quotation status and convert enquiries into confirmed business.
4. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments from order receipt through project execution.
- Monitor project progress and keep customers informed of key milestones.
- Support timely delivery and effective issue resolution.
5. Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Identify new products, industries, and business opportunities.
- Prepare periodic market analysis reports and business development plans.
6. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain CRM records and sales pipelines.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Track enquiry conversion ratio, sales targets, and customer visit reports.
- Present business updates to management.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- MBA (Marketing/International Business) is an added advantage.
Experience
- 10–12 years of experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, Key Account Management, or Marketing.
- Experience in Heavy Fabrication, Trailer Manufacturing, Automotive, Sheet Metal, Industrial Equipment, or Engineering Manufacturing is preferred.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
