Job Overview
TechAGI Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated US IT Recruiter to join our recruitment team in Coimbatore. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening and engaging qualified IT professionals for contract and full-time opportunities across the United States.
The ideal candidate should understand the US staffing process, employment classifications, work authorizations, technical requirements and candidate-submission procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, sourcing ability and the willingness to work during US business hours.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review job requirements and understand the required technical skills, experience and candidate profile.
- Source qualified IT professionals through job portals, professional networks, internal databases, referrals and other recruitment channels.
- Screen candidates based on their technical experience, communication skills, location, work authorization, availability and compensation expectations.
- Explain job responsibilities, work arrangements, contract terms and hiring procedures clearly to candidates.
- Work on contract, contract-to-hire and full-time employment requirements.
- Understand common US employment classifications, including C2C, W2 and 1099.
- Verify candidates’ work authorization and basic employment information before submission.
- Obtain candidate consent and required documentation before presenting profiles.
- Prepare accurate candidate summaries and submit qualified profiles within the required timeline.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Follow up with submitted candidates and internal stakeholders regarding interview and selection updates.
- Maintain accurate records of candidates, submissions, interviews, offers and placements.
- Build and maintain a reliable network of IT professionals and recruitment contacts.
- Meet daily and weekly sourcing, submission and interview targets.
- Follow ethical recruitment practices and protect candidate and company information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in US IT recruitment or US staffing.
- Good understanding of the complete US recruitment lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of C2C, W2, 1099 and common US work authorizations.
- Experience sourcing candidates through major job portals, professional networks and recruitment databases.
- Ability to understand technical job descriptions and identify suitable candidates.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Good candidate-screening, negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and work within deadlines.
- Comfortable working during the US shift from the Coimbatore office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for Java, .NET, cloud, data, enterprise applications, CRM, ERP and other IT positions.
- Experience working with implementation partners, vendors or direct-client requirements.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and candidate-management tools.
- Existing network of US-based IT professionals and staffing contacts.
- Experience handling candidates with different US work authorizations.
