UNITED FOOD VENTURES AND ASSOCIATES is seeking a skilled and creative Bakery Chef to lead bakery production and ensure high-quality baked products. The candidate will be responsible for preparing breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other bakery items while maintaining quality, consistency, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, muffins, and desserts.
- Develop and standardize recipes for bakery products.
- Monitor product quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage daily bakery production schedules.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers.
- Train and supervise bakery assistants and helpers.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate raw material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Minimize wastage and optimize production efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Bakery & Confectionery, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a bakery, café, hotel, or food production unit.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and production processes.
- Ability to manage production targets and quality standards.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
