Role Overview
As a Storyteller & Short-Form Video Creator, you will be responsible for researching, scripting, and creating content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form platforms. The ideal candidate understands audience psychology, storytelling structures, and social media trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Research trending topics, stories, and social media conversations.
- Create engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other vertical video formats.
- Develop compelling hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds.
- Structure content to maximize audience retention and engagement.
- Write captions, headlines, and supporting copy for social platforms.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and content teams.
- Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on analytics.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, creators, and platform updates.
Requirements
- Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills.
- Understanding of short-form content formats and social media trends.
- Ability to simplify complex topics into engaging stories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of content analytics and audience behavior.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Video editing using CapCut, Premiere Pro, VN, or similar tools.
- On-camera presentation skills.
- Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related background.
- Experience managing social media accounts.
