About the Internship
Cyzium Hacker Academy is looking for a motivated Cybersecurity Researcher Intern who is interested in cybersecurity, security research, threat intelligence, and emerging technologies.
This internship is designed as a learning and practical research opportunity for students, beginners, and aspiring cybersecurity professionals who want to gain hands-on exposure to real-world cybersecurity concepts and research methodologies.
The intern will work on guided research activities, cybersecurity learning projects, documentation, and practical exercises under the supervision of the academy team.
Responsibilities
- Research current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, defensive technologies, and emerging trends.
- Study and document publicly available cybersecurity information and threat intelligence.
- Conduct research on topics such as web security, network security, OSINT, vulnerability research, malware analysis, and AI security.
- Analyze real-world cybersecurity incidents, attack techniques, and case studies to develop practical learning content.
- Prepare research notes, technical summaries, presentations, demonstrations, and basic security reports.
- Assist in developing cybersecurity course materials, practical exercises, lab activities, and student learning resources.
- Support trainers and instructors in preparing and delivering cybersecurity training sessions.
- Explain researched cybersecurity concepts to students in a clear and beginner-friendly manner.
- Assist with practical demonstrations and guided cybersecurity lab sessions under appropriate supervision.
- Participate in online mentoring, discussions, workshops, and occasional on-site academic activities.
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity tools, techniques, technologies, and industry developments.
- Help continuously improve the academy's cybersecurity learning content based on current industry trends.
