Job Description – Energy Manager
The Energy Manager is responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing energy consumption across telecom tower sites to ensure uninterrupted network operations while minimizing energy costs. The role focuses on power infrastructure management, diesel consumption control, renewable energy integration, energy efficiency initiatives, and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze energy consumption across telecom tower sites.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy costs and improve efficiency.
- Track diesel consumption, grid power utilization, and battery performance.
- Ensure uninterrupted power availability at all telecom sites.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for energy assets.
- Monitor site uptime and energy-related KPIs.
- Manage energy equipment vendors, maintenance contractors, and fuel suppliers.
- Prepare monthly energy consumption reports and cost analysis.
- Monitor energy budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Investigate abnormal energy usage and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and energy records.
Requirements;
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in telecom infrastructure, tower operations, energy management, or power systems.
- Experience managing DG sets, battery banks, rectifiers, and renewable energy systems.
- Knowledge of telecom tower energy optimization practices is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
