Job Title: Showroom Manager
Department: Sales & Retail Operations
Reports To: Store Owner / Business Head
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month (depending on candidate's experience)
Position Summary
The Tiles Showroom Manager will oversee daily showroom operations, lead the sales team, handle customer visits (homeowners, architects, interior designers, and contractors), and manage stock/inventory. This role requires an experienced candidate with strong sales skills, product knowledge of building materials, and effective team leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Welcome walk-in clients, guide them on tile types (ceramic, vitrified, marble finish, outdoor tiles), negotiate deals, and close sales.
- B2B Network Building: Build strong relationships with local architects, interior designers, builders, and civil contractors to secure bulk orders.
- Showroom Maintenance: Ensure display racks, sample boards, and mockups are clean, well-arranged, and updated with current trends.
- Stock & Order Management: Coordinate with dispatch/warehouses, monitor inventory levels, verify billing, and arrange customer deliveries.
- Team Leadership: Manage showroom sales staff, assign targets, provide product training, and maintain daily sales records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in a Tiles, Sanitaryware, Hardware, Marble, or Building Materials showroom. (Only experienced candidates will be considered)
- Education: Graduate in any stream (B.Com/BBA/BA preferred).
- Skills Needed:
- Strong tile product knowledge (sizes, finishes, brands, rates).
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
