Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across target industries and markets.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, client meetings, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, government agencies, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, commercial offers, and participate in client negotiations.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive end-to-end sales activities, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling the organization's services.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and maintain an active sales pipeline.
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify emerging business opportunities.
- Track industry trends, customer requirements, and market developments to formulate growth strategies.
- Support leadership in expanding into new markets and business segments.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to deliver customized business solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Proposal Management & Coordination
- Prepare client presentations, business proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and commercial documentation.
- Coordinate with technical and project teams to develop competitive solutions and ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Track proposal status and follow up with clients until closure.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, technical, finance, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver quality services and meet client expectations.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Maintain CRM records, sales reports, revenue forecasts, and business development MIS.
- Present business performance, sales pipeline, and growth opportunities to senior management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions where required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Proven experience in lead generation, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and business reporting.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple opportunities and meeting aggressive sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Preferred Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development and Sales, preferably in Engineering Consultancy, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Skill Development, or related sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing strategic business partnerships.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
