About the Role
Kohira Lab Grown Diamond is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead business operations, sales growth, retail expansion, and strategic initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will drive revenue, optimize operational efficiency, strengthen brand presence, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while leading high-performing teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth channels.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Sales Leadership
- Lead retail, SIS, franchise, and wholesale sales operations.
- Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Develop strategies to increase conversion, ATV, and customer retention.
Retail & Operations Management
- Oversee showroom and SIS operations across all locations.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, policies, and operational standards.
- Manage inventory planning, stock movement, and loss prevention.
- Improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor Regional Managers, Cluster Managers, Store Managers, and Corporate Teams.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
- Support talent acquisition, employee development, and succession planning.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and business meetings.
Financial Management
- Manage budgets, P&L, and operational costs.
- Monitor key financial metrics and profitability.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources and cost optimization.
Customer Experience & Brand Development
- Ensure delivery of exceptional luxury customer experiences.
- Strengthen brand positioning within the lab-grown diamond industry.
- Drive customer engagement, loyalty, and repeat business initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal departments including HR, Finance, Marketing, and Merchandising.
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners, landlords, franchisees, and vendors.
- Present business reviews and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 10–15+ years of experience in Retail, Jewellery, Diamonds, Luxury Retail, or Lifestyle Brands.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing multi-location operations.
