Job Summary
A Site Engineer (Civil) is responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure timely project completion within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Ensure construction work complies with design, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Verify measurements, quantities, and completed work for billing purposes.
- Ensure proper use of construction materials and minimize wastage.
- Monitor manpower, machinery, and resource utilization.
- Implement quality control procedures and maintain site documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support to the project team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects (experience requirement may vary by organization).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards.
- Familiarity with project documentation and quantity measurements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Primarily based at construction sites.
- May require extended working hours to meet project deadlines.
- Must adhere to site safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
