Job Summary
The Guest Relation Executive / Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, creating a positive first impression, managing reservations and seating arrangements, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities Guest Reception & Service
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Escort guests to their tables or designated areas.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Ensure guests feel welcomed and valued.
Reservation & Seating Management
- Handle table reservations via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Manage waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Coordinate with service staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow.
- Maintain accurate reservation records.
Guest Relations
- Address guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Gather guest feedback and communicate improvement opportunities to management.
- Build rapport with regular and VIP guests.
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
Communication & Coordination
- Coordinate with restaurant, housekeeping, kitchen, or front office teams as required.
- Inform guests about promotions, events, and special offers.
- Assist in handling special requests such as birthdays, anniversaries, and VIP arrangements.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain guest databases and records.
- Prepare daily reservation and guest reports.
- Ensure reception and waiting areas remain clean, organized, and presentable.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, bachelor's degree, or hotel management qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, restaurants, hotels, or guest relations.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to handle guest complaints tactfully.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer applications (MS Office, POS systems).
