We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our growing finance team.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support the organization's financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliations, and cash flow records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts.
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and expense reports.
- Assist in payroll processing and salary reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required financial documents.
- Monitor company expenses and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Coordinate with management on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, reporting).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of payroll processing.
- Experience preparing MIS reports and financial dashboards.
- Previous experience in an IT or service-based organization is an added advantage.
