About the Role:
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Head of E-Commerce to lead and scale our online business across marketplaces and D2C channels. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, or personal care categories with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, profitability, and brand visibility across digital platforms.
This role requires ownership of marketplace growth, website performance, digital sales strategy, retention, operations coordination, and team management.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketplace Management
- Own complete business growth across marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Tira, Myntra, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.
- Drive sales, visibility, and profitability across all online channels.
- Monitor marketplace KPIs including ROAS, ACOS, conversion rate, CTR, TACOS, sessions, and category rankings.
- Manage product listings, catalog health, content optimization, pricing, reviews, and inventory planning.
- Coordinate with marketplace account managers for growth opportunities and campaigns.
Performance Marketing & Revenue Growth
- Work closely with internal/external performance marketing teams.
- Drive paid advertising strategy across Amazon Ads, Meta Ads, Google Ads, DSP, and marketplace sponsored campaigns.
- Optimize customer acquisition cost and maximize ROI.
- Plan and execute sale events, launches, and promotional campaigns.
D2C Website Growth
- Lead website revenue growth strategy for Shopify or equivalent platforms.
- Improve conversion rate optimization (CRO), customer journey, AOV, and retention metrics.
- Coordinate with tech, creative, and marketing teams for website updates and campaigns.
- Monitor website analytics and customer behavior.
Retention & CRM
- Develop retention marketing strategies using:
- WhatsApp Marketing
- Email Marketing
- SMS Automation
- Loyalty & Referral Programs
- Improve repeat purchase rate and customer lifetime value (LTV).
Operations & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with supply chain, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure stock availability.
- Forecast inventory requirements based on sales trends and upcoming campaigns.
- Reduce stock-outs and overstock situations.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor e-commerce, cataloging, performance, and operations teams.
- Set KRAs/KPIs and monitor team performance.
- Build scalable SOPs and processes for growth.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare weekly and monthly business reports.
- Analyze sales trends, campaign performance, and profitability.
- Present growth strategies and insights to leadership.

- Prior experience in Beauty, Skincare, Cosmetics, Wellness, or D2C brands preferred.
- Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms and digital growth strategies.
- Experience managing high monthly ad spends and revenue targets.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and business acumen.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
