Position Summary
The Academic Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of academic and administrative operations at the learning centre. This role serves as the link between academic planning and operational execution by coordinating faculty, managing curriculum delivery, overseeing projects, maintaining institutional compliance, and supporting communication initiatives. The Academic Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering a high-quality learning experience while ensuring adherence to organizational policies, timelines, and academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Operations & Administration
- Oversee the day-to-day academic and administrative operations of the learning centre.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, academic standards, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate faculty schedules and classroom planning for smooth academic delivery.
- Monitor curriculum implementation and ensure timely syllabus completion.
- Track student progress and facilitate batch progression as per academic timelines.
- Support academic planning and ensure effective execution of institutional initiatives.
- Manage academic resources to ensure uninterrupted teaching and learning activities.
- Assist in budget planning, allocation, monitoring, and effective utilization of departmental resources.
2. Faculty Coordination
- Coordinate with faculty members to ensure timely delivery of academic sessions.
- Monitor faculty performance and provide operational support when required.
- Facilitate communication between faculty, academic leadership, and management.
- Ensure faculty schedules are aligned with institutional academic plans.
3. External Relations & Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, organizations, and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for academic collaborations and strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate initiatives related to sponsorships, memberships, and academic support programs.
- Assist in fundraising and partnership activities that contribute to institutional growth.
4. Communication & Marketing Support
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of academic newsletters, brochures, and promotional materials.
- Ensure timely dissemination of communication across students, parents, faculty, and other stakeholders.
- Promote institutional achievements, academic research, student projects, and success stories through digital platforms and other communication channels.
- Support academic campaigns and institutional branding initiatives.
5. Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor academic and administrative projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines and quality standards.
- Track milestones, identify risks, and implement corrective actions wherever necessary.
- Review completed projects and recommend process improvements for future initiatives.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate academic, operational, and administrative records.
- Prepare periodic reports on curriculum progress, student performance, faculty activities, budgets, and operational KPIs.
- Ensure timely submission of reports to management.
- Maintain proper documentation in accordance with institutional policies and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- 4–8 years of experience in Academic Coordination, Academic Operations, or Educational Administration.
- Experience in an EdTech company or Educational Institution is mandatory.
