Job Summary
The Store Incharge is responsible for managing all store and inventory activities at the construction site, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping of materials, tools, and equipment. The role involves maintaining stock accuracy, preventing material loss, and supporting smooth site operations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Maintain proper records of material receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to site personnel as per approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Purchase Department about reorder requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software and physical registers.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials to avoid damage, wastage, or theft.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Purchase Team, and Vendors regarding material availability.
- Maintain records of tools, machinery, and consumables issued to employees and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices within the store.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, and excess inventory and report to management.
- Manage gate entry and gate pass records for inward and outward movement of materials.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 3–8 years of experience in construction site stores management.
- Experience in handling civil construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, electrical and plumbing materials.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Excel.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Experience

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
