Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Linux servers and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking, server monitoring, security, backups, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Red Hat).
- Monitor server performance, availability, and system health.
- Create and manage users, groups, permissions, and file systems.
- Configure and maintain web servers (Apache/Nginx).
- Manage SSH, FTP, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security hardening.
- Configure firewall (UFW, Firewalld, IPTables) and ensure server security.
- Monitor system logs and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Perform data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Automate routine tasks using Shell Scripting (Bash).
- Monitor servers using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Coordinate with the IT team for application deployment and maintenance.
- Maintain documentation of server configurations and processes.
- Ensure maximum uptime and quick resolution of server-related issues.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux Administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Red Hat).
- Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN).
- Knowledge of Apache/Nginx web servers.
- Experience with Shell Scripting (Bash).
- Understanding of virtualization (VMware, VirtualBox, KVM).
- Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is preferred.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications
- RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator)

Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with Linux certification can also apply)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science/IT), BCA, MCA, Diploma in IT, or equivalent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
