The Junior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting audits and financial planning. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to handle deadlines efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure timely closing of books of accounts
- Handle accounts payable and receivables.
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax compliance, and other statutory filings
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance when required
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Liaise with banks, vendors, and government authorities as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- MCOM preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation
- Proficiency in Advance Excel (Hlookup, Vlookup, Pivot Table)

Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
