Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings for Cooling Tower projects using AutoCAD, ZW CAD, and other 2D & 3D drafting software.
- Develop and modify General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Foundation Drawings, Beam & Slab Drawings, Column Schedules, Water Tank Drawings, and RCC Reinforcement Drawings.
- Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings related to the mechanical components of Cooling Towers.
- Revise and update standard drawings and create new drawings as per client specifications and project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and company quality requirements.
- Coordinate with execution, production, and project teams to clarify drawings and resolve technical issues.
- Explain drawings and technical details to execution engineers, production engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
- Visit manufacturing facilities and project sites for measurements, inspections, drawing verification, and project support as required.
- Maintain proper documentation, revision records, and drawing control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project execution by incorporating design changes and client comments within the required timelines.
Desired Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, ZW CAD, and other relevant 2D/3D drafting software.
- Good knowledge of RCC structures, reinforcement detailing, foundations, beams, slabs, columns, and water-retaining structures.
- Ability to prepare accurate civil and mechanical engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of engineering standards and construction practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and visualization skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 7–10 years in civil and structural drafting, preferably in Cooling Towers, Industrial Structures, Water Treatment Plants, Power Plants, or Heavy Engineering Projects.
- Experience in preparing RCC and structural drawings for industrial projects.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and project execution processes will be an added advantage.
Travel Requirement
- Willingness to travel to factories and project sites across India and overseas whenever required for company assignments.
Compensation & Benefits
- CTC: ₹6–7 LPA
- Additional working hours, if required for business needs, will be compensated as per the company's policy.
