The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, assisting with statutory compliance, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping. The role requires attention to detail, financial discipline, and compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software.
- Maintain cash book, bank book, and general ledger.
- Prepare journal entries and ledger reconciliations.
- Verify and post purchase, sales, and expense vouchers.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and payment requests.
- Prepare payment vouchers and coordinate vendor payments.
- Track customer receipts and outstanding balances.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts periodically.
Banking & Reconciliation
- Perform daily bank reconciliation.
- Monitor bank transactions and prepare reconciliation statements.
- Assist in fund transfer documentation and banking activities.
Payroll Support
- Assist in payroll processing and salary accounting.
- Verify employee reimbursement claims and supporting documents.
- Maintain payroll records and statutory deduction details.
Statutory Compliance
- Assist in GST return preparation and reconciliation.
- Support TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.
- Maintain records related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and Labour Compliance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation regulations.
Financial Reporting
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain financial records for audit purposes.
Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, and financial documents.
- Ensure all records are updated and easily retrievable.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
- Additional certification in Accounting, Tally, GST, or Finance will be preferred.
Experience
- 2–4 Years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles and Bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and Payroll.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Formulas).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in project accounting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
