Job Description (JD) – Quality Engineer (Final Inspection)
Position: Quality Engineer – Final Inspection
Department: Quality
Experience-2-4 years
Reporting To: Gaya Prasad
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Perform final inspection of finished products as per control plan, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
2. Verify dimensional, visual, functional, and packaging requirements before dispatch
.3. Review inspection reports, test certificates, and quality documents for completeness and accuracy.
4. Ensure compliance with GD&T, engineering drawings, and customer-specific requirements.
5. Conduct sampling inspections as per defined inspection plans.
6. Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products.
7. Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) with production and quality teams.
8. Maintain inspection records, traceability documents, and quality reports.
9. Verify calibration status of measuring instruments before use.
10. Support customer audits, internal audits, and process audits.
11. Monitor quality trends and provide recommendations for continual improvement.
12. Ensure proper packaging verification to prevent transit damage and wrong-part dispatch.
13. Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, and Stores departments for smooth material clearance.
14. Participate in root cause analysis (Why-Why, 8D, Fishbone, etc.) for quality issues.
Required Skills:-
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore GaugeUnderstanding of Control Plans, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
