Plasma Spray Processors Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO-certified pioneer in advanced surface engineering and industrial thermal spray coatings, operating for over 40 years. Located in the MIDC industrial area of Taloja, Navi Mumbai, we provide specialized coating solutions to core engineering sectors like Steel, Paper, Oil & Gas, and Power Generation.
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable, structured HR Executive to handle day-to-day HR and administrative operations at our Taloja plant. This is a generalist role that bridges the gap between management and employees, overseeing everything from blue-collar worker attendance and payroll inputs to statutory compliance and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant & Shop-floor HR Operations: Manage daily attendance, leaves, and shift rosters for permanent technicians, engineers, and contract laborers. Maintain high discipline and resolve day-to-day worker grievances on the shop floor.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Source, screen, and interview candidates for both technical roles (lathe operators, plasma spray technicians, grinders) and executive/managerial roles. Coordinate the final onboarding process.
- Statutory Compliance & Legalities: Ensure strict compliance with applicable labor laws and MIDC regulations. Manage records for ESIC, Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), and the Contract Labor Act. Coordinate with local government bodies or labor consultants when required.
- Contractor & Vendor Management: Supervise and track third-party contract labor agencies. Verify contractor bills, attendance logs, and compliance documents before processing payments.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and compile monthly error-free data inputs for payroll (overtime sheets, loss of pay, bonuses, and advances) and coordinate with the finance team for timely salary disbursement.
- Plant Administration: Oversee office utilities, plant security protocols, housekeeping staff, fire and safety equipment tracking, and annual renewal of necessary plant licenses.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in HR, Labor Laws, or Personnel Management (MSW/MILS/MLW or similar background is highly preferred).
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of core HR experience specifically in a manufacturing plant, engineering unit, or heavy workshop environment.
- Labor Law Expertise: Practical knowledge of statutory compliance (Factory Act, PF, ESIC, Contract Labor regulation).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is mandatory to communicate effectively with the local workforce, operators, and labor agencies. Good command over written English for drafting official policy letters.
- Software Skills: Good handling of HRMS/Biometric attendance systems and MS Office (Excel & Word).
- Location Preference: Candidates residing in Navi Mumbai (Taloja, Kharghar, Panvel, Kalamboli, Kamothe) who can easily commute to the Taloja MIDC area.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
