Project Manager – Legacy Waste Remediation
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and manage the execution of Legacy Waste Remediation Projects across 11 project sites. The Employee will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, coordination with government authorities, contractors, consultants, and ensuring timely completion of all activities in accordance with project specifications, environmental guidelines, and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of legacy waste remediation projects at all 11 sites.
- Develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, and monitor project progress.
- Coordinate with Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), government departments, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Supervise site engineers, contractors, and technical staff to ensure quality execution.
- Ensure compliance with Solid Waste Management Rules, CPCB guidelines, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor biomining/bioremediation operations, waste processing, screening, segregation, and disposal activities.
- Review DPRs, project reports, BOQs, work schedules, and contractor bills.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and present project status to management and clients.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays.
- Monitor project budgets, material utilization, manpower deployment, and equipment performance.
- Ensure timely completion of milestones while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Resolve technical and operational issues arising during project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with quality control and environmental monitoring teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any stream.
- Good Communication In English.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in solid waste management or legacy waste remediation projects.
- Experience in Biomining/Bioremediation, Landfill Reclamation, Solid Waste Management, or Municipal Infrastructure Projects is highly preferred.
- Experience in handling multiple project sites simultaneously is desirable.
