We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the overall financial health of the firm. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare reports, and assist in financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of transactions.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and accounting standards.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Monitor cash flow and support financial decision-making.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com or equivalent).
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (can be adjusted based on role level).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Professional certification such as CA (Inter), CMA, or ACCA (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience with taxation and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
