Roles and Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose and treat infants, children and adolescents.
- Provide outpatient, inpatient and emergency paediatric care.
- Manage common childhood illnesses, infections and chronic medical conditions.
- Assess the growth, development and nutritional status of children.
- Provide newborn and neonatal care, including attending deliveries when required.
- Prescribe appropriate medicines, investigations and treatment plans.
- Administer and advise parents on childhood vaccinations and immunisation schedules.
- Respond promptly to paediatric emergencies and stabilise critically ill children.
- Coordinate with neonatologists, nurses and other medical specialists for comprehensive patient care.
- Counsel parents and caregivers regarding treatment, nutrition, hygiene and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes and discharge summaries.
- Follow hospital policies, NABH standards, infection-control protocols and patient-safety guidelines.
- Participate in clinical audits, departmental meetings and continuous medical education programmes.

Qualification & Details:
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Paediatrics
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission or State Medical Council
- Location: Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu
