Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Operations Specialist to run our daily supply chain logistics, inventory tracking, and system administration. You will receive direct guidance from leadership initially, with the expectation to quickly transition to independent ownership of your tasks.
This role balances high-impact execution—such as managing store coordinators and tracking profitability metrics—with essential, routine data management like POS menu updates. If you are tech-savvy, highly organized, and thrive on driving daily tasks to completion, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain & Cost Control
a. Inventory Management: Monitor overall stock levels across locations, ensuring optimal demand forecasting to minimize waste while preventing stockouts.
b. Food Cost Tracking: Maintain accurate Excel sheets to track, analyze, and report on daily food costs and ingredient waste.
c. Logistics Optimization: Monitor logistics costs and freight expenses to ensure efficient distribution from suppliers to stores.
2. Lead end-to-end execution of projects, such as enabling barcoding, creating new store setup checklists, and launching training and tracking programs.
3. POS & System Administration
a. Menu Creation & Updation: Own the routine backend administration of the POS (Point of Sale) system, including inputting new menus, updating prices, and managing system configurations.
b. Data Integrity: Ensure all operational data, pricing, and inventory items are accurately mapped within internal software.
4. Coordinator Management
a. Supervise Coordinators: Manage and hold accountable the team members who handle day-to-day store communications, ensuring they execute inventory tasks correctly.
b. Task Execution: Act as the primary "doer" to resolve immediate supply chain bottlenecks, supplier delays, or inventory discrepancies.
5. Tech & AI Reporting
a. Spreadsheet Management: Utilize Excel heavily for data entry, pivot tables, and tracking operational metrics.
b. AI Report Creation: Leverage basic AI tools (like Claude) to quickly synthesize data, draft operational summaries, and speed up team communications.
Requirements & Qualifications
1. Experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or retail/hospitality management.
2. F&B Industry Experience (Preferred): Solid understanding of food cost metrics, shelf-life management, and restaurant/retail operations.
3. Strong Excel Skills: Proficiency in managing large datasets, using formulas, and building clean tracking sheets.
4. Tech Agility & AI Literacy: Ability to master new POS/inventory software quickly and use AI prompts for efficient reporting.
5. Execution Mindset: High discipline for completing routine, detail-oriented administrative tasks with zero errors.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
