Job Title: Web Developer (WordPress & E-commerce Specialist)Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Web Developer with strong expertise in WordPress development, e-commerce platforms, payment gateway integration, and client handling. The ideal candidate should be able to build, manage, and maintain responsive websites with smooth functionality and secure payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites using WordPress
- Build and customize e-commerce websites (product pages, cart, checkout, etc.)
- Integrate and manage payment gateways (Razorpay, PayPal, Stripe, UPI, etc.)
- Handle transaction and payment transfer processes securely and efficiently
- Work with HTML & CSS (basic to intermediate level) for frontend adjustments
- Customize themes and plugins as per project requirements
- Ensure website responsiveness across all devices (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- Troubleshoot and fix website issues, bugs, and performance problems
- Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide updates
- Manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines
Required Skills
- Strong experience in WordPress development
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce preferred)
- Experience with payment gateway integration and configuration
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Understanding of website security and transaction flow
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and client handling skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WooCommerce customization
- Knowledge of website optimization and speed improvement
- Basic understanding of SEO principles
- Experience working with hosting panels (cPanel, etc.)
Qualifications
- Any graduate / diploma in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Relevant experience in WordPress development or freelance web projects
